After nine weeks in the wild yoga bubble that is Las Vegas, I'm now spending my days teaching Bikram Yoga in Concord, Manchester and Portsmouth, NH. We have a fine, dedicated group of yogis in our little neck of the woods! What does this have to do with music, and the pursuit of song?

Balance, my friends. Balance. We live in a time when our sense of balance is challenged every day. We may not even realize that there is such a thing as balance, as we charge forward into our lives, our jobs, our relentless pursuit of happiness. I spent the majority of the last ten years slugging it out in bars, scratching out a living so I could wake up in the morning and scratch some more. I enjoyed it immensely, for a time. And somewhere along the line it became a job... a paycheck (and a pretty small one at that).

Bikram Yoga has given me some of that balance back. And I can feel it returning to the music as well. In the end, it's all about communicating. And as proud as I am to be teaching Bikram Yoga, I'm also proud to be singing songs. So I hope you'll join me at a special benefit show in Nashua, NH, on Friday, March 12, at STUDIO 99, called Acoustic for Autism. I'll be joined by the great Cormac McCarthy! Tickets are available at: http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/95232, or for more information check out the Studio 99 Website at http://www.studio99nashua.com. Cheers!
